The A.W. Frost Agency, a member of the Davis & Towle Insurance Group, is proud to be sponsoring, with Progressive Insurance, the first annual Cool Bikes & Hot Wings ride in bike show and hot wing contest.  Benefitting the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, this new event is scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 11am-4pm at Laconia Harley Davidson on Route 3 in Meredith.  There will be prizes for best bikes and best wings, spectators enter for free, bike entry fee is $25 and wings are $5.

Increased Need Seen for Roadside Service

More motorists are expected to need roadside service this summer than last.  AAA estimates 7.3 million motorists will be stranded this summer, an increase of 1.5% over the same period last year.  With gas prices averaging $1.50 less than last year, overall vehicle miles driven are expected to increase significantly.  Additionally, in a down economy people are holding on to cars longer and possibly forgoing regular maintenance, which can both lead to an increase in breakdowns.
